Your technician will arrive between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Upon arrival, they will ring the doorbell and begin the application. A liquid fertilizer and weed control is spread evenly across the lawn and quickly absorbed. Before we leave, a small sign is planted in the grass.

Yes! We are happy to spray your alley and/or walking path if the area is easily accessible. Just request these areas in the ‘Other’ section (bottom) of the online booking form and we will typically include them free of charge. If the area does require an additional fee to cover the we will contact you with an updated quote.
Yes we do! Boulevards are included in the service, as well in the size of property. If you would like your boulevard not sprayed for any reason, just indicate so in the ‘Other’ section (bottom) of the online booking form.

No it will not. Our technicians receive extensive training to ensure the weed control spray only makes contact with the target area. We have never had a plant affected by the weed control product.

Results will be noticeable as soon as 24-48 hours after the application. Grass will green up and the weeds will begin disappearing. Larger weeds will turn brown and shrivel up, with multiple applications being required to eradicate them.

The following day, either early in the morning or late at night, are the best times to water the lawn after the fertilization and weed control application. This ensures the product is fully absorbed by the grass and weeds, and that they can begin transferring the products to the roots.

Aeration cores will decompose in roughly 1-2 weeks. We recommend watering within a day of the application so grass seed can be planted into the aeration holes. This will also begin breaking down the aeration cores, which will decompose in 1-2 weeks. The new grass seed will begin germinating within a few weeks, and will show noticeable growth in around 4-6 weeks.

Lush Lawn Care tries to time our fertilization and weed control visits to occur four weeks apart on the same day of the week. Weather often makes this a lofty goal, but your visits will occur 4-5 weeks apart.

Both the weed control and fertilizer need 4 weeks between applications so as not to overwhelm the plants. Excessive fertilization will cause the grass to dry up and eventually die, while excess weed control will burn through the leaves without being sent to the roots.
Now that the hard part is over and you have a nice lawn, the key is to maintain it by continuing with preventative applications. This ensures you keep the green and weed-free lawn you wanted all along. Without ongoing applications, the grass uses up all it’s fertilizer reserves and weeds will begin seeding within weeks/months.
